Received a genuine Hermes email for an item delivered to someone abroad

Hi guys, so I’m a little concerned. I (UK) received an email this morning from Hermes (Delivery), I didn’t click on any links but copied the tracking number to their official website that tells me there is a package being delivered to someone on in Germany. The address is real, but strangely this has been sent to my email.

I have triple checked my bank statements and there are no worrisome outgoings, but I find it very strange that I’ve received this email for someone else.

My question is if you’re able to help, is this a cause for concern? And what next steps should I take? I presume to change my passwords?

Thank you so much in advance 🙂

probably the real buyer misspelled their email address and was sent to you by mistake

Once started receiving emails about packages being delivered to an address in the UK. I ignored them. Then one day realized that it was a Gmail address that was supposed to be (user) @ google mail. I guess Gmail got it mixed up. So I let the other person know. It was weird for a while though (and where did they get the money to buy all that stuff?)
