Scam Website

So I ordered a collapsible pool from a website for $28.98. I spent 7.99 on shipping.

The pool was supposed to have a drain plug and be able to fit a dog. It did not come with a drain plug and it’s an oversized water bowl.

I have been emailing them and they offered me a 20% refund and I get to keep the water bowl.

“Dear Blah,

Thank you for your patience.

After checking the website that you purchased on, we found that the descriptions are indeed misleading. In this case, we would like to offer a 20% refund of the order, which is 7.51 USD as compensation, and you do not need to return the product. Is it acceptable for you?

Kindly reminder: Please do not return the item until we have authorized the return address in the email. In addition, the address on the package is not our return address. Please note that do not send the package to that address, otherwise we shall not be liable for any losses.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Best regards,
June

I told them this wasn’t acceptable at all!

Soooo, what would be the best course of action?

Dispute it with your credit card company as soon as possible. They can give you your money back as long as you have all the evidence that the item you ordered is not the one you received
