‘Sugar daddy’ scam

Just had a sugar daddy dm me on Instagram telling me he’d give me 3k a month, of course I’m suspicious but go along with it. Turns out to prove I’m real I need to send him £50 first… can’t believe anyone actually falls for this. Like yes of course that proves I’m real, anyone can transfer that 🤦‍♀️ still tried to insist it wasn’t a scam!

    They do fall for it.

And then when we tell them it’s a scam, they say stuff like, “I was gonna send him my cash app. Can he scam me with just that?”

    Like, why bother sending it?

Several try to justify that it might be real, and then you have some dip shit come in with, “ummm yeah some people DO send money to random people on the internet it’s called FINDOM look it up, stupid.”

Which does nothing except get the person who is asking if it’s a scam, to thinking that maybe this person is into findom and it could be real.

    I did look into findom.

Once again, like the sugar daddy business, it’s an in person thing. Nobody is handing out money to random strangers on the internet, especially to look cute and talk.

They could have a big booty Instagram girl in real life with that kind of money, and you think they’re gonna send you 3000k to sit in your dirty cookie monster PJs and talk?

Oi. Drives me almost as nuts as the “so I was chatting to this girl on X site and–” posts.
