Work from home opportunities

If a work-from-home job requires certain devices, programs, and computers to use for your job and they say they’ll provide a check or direct deposit so you can purchase the said items, and you have searched to see that the company is legit and actually exists but are still unsure. what else would you check for?

These are !job scams. Real businesses have a like a web-based system to reimburse employees by direct deposit for approved purchases

That’s a very common !fakecheck scam.

No real company is going to send out a check for thousands of dollars to an “employee” they’ve never met, asking you to deposit it into your personal account, and then buy the stuff yourself. If it were actually a legit job that required equipment, they would procure it and ship it to you.

Yeah I’d say 100% scam too. My job provided the equipment by having us physically pick it up in the office to work from home with. Our admin also has a purchasing system to order us anything we need like extra monitors or headsets.

  5. “Work from home” is a HUGE red flag. That’s MLM speak. 99.999% of the time, it’s a scam.
